Appalachian Virginia is a vital region for banjos and fiddles, but some are concerned that bluegrass may die out.
Kinney Rorrer, former host of “Back to the Blue Ridge” on WVTF radio, and others describe efforts underway in Patrick County. There, Reynolds Homestead staff and volunteers are sharing their love of bluegrass with young people, who get free admission to concerts in the homestead’s American Music Series.
