Virginia energy initiative launched: The Virginia Energy Plan was unveiled Sept. 12 in Richmond, and Irene Leech, pictured here with Governor Tim Kaine, was on hand to discuss related education initiatives. An associate professor of apparel, housing, and resource management in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, Leech is also president of the Virginia Citizen's Consumer Council, and was just appointed to the Governor's Energy Policy Advisory Council.
