Senator at Solar House

Home sweet (Solar) home: The Virginia Tech Solar House, which has been relocated to the Science Museum of Virginia in Richmond, has a new resident: State Senator Frank W. Wagner. The senator, seen here catching up on the latest news after completing his first night in the house, has long been a leading proponent of alternative energy sources and energy conservation. He will be living in the award-winning Solar House for one week to attract more attention to the house and to the structure's many innovative technological and energy-saving features. The Solar House will be on site outside the Science Museum for a year and will be open for the public to visit. See the slide show of Senator Wagner's early hours of living in the Solar House.
