On Feb. 2, 2012, Virginia Tech held its 14th annual Hokie Day in Richmond. More than 170 Hokies joined university leaders in Richmond to meet with state legislators to support the university. Attendees gathered at the Capitol for a picture with Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling, Secretary of Natural Resources Doug Domenech, Secretary of Health and Human Resources Bill Hazel, and Secretary of Agriculture and Forestry Todd Haymore. Students and alumni visited the galleries of the House of Delegates and Senate of Virginia, and were introduced by Rep. Rich Anderson and Sen. John Edwards. Photo courtesy of the Governor's Office.
