Virginia Tech's social media channels keep you up-to-date on news, information

University Relations maintains the central social media pages for Virginia Tech on channels such as Facebook, Pinterest, Foursquare, YouTube, and Google Plus, as well as three twitter accounts:
- @virginia_tech with information, pictures, and fun university facts for Hokies around the world
- @vtnews as the official news and information stream from Virginia Tech News
- @im_a_hokie for a student-centric look at campus happenings
Through these channels, we help keep students, alumni, faculty, staff, fans, and friends up-to-date on news and events and provide pictures and videos from across Virginia Tech’s campuses. Don't miss the popular photos featured on Facebook or the latest #HokieFacts on Twitter.
You even can earn Virginia Tech's custom "I'm a Hokie" badge on Foursquare. Walk around campus and check in at places frequented by Hokie students throughout the years. Visit five of the 10 locations, and Virginia Tech's badge will appear.
