Graduate profile: Reco Charity will be first in his family to graduate college

Despite their family's financial difficulties, Reco Charity's mother encouraged him to work hard and do well in school in the hopes that he would one day attend a university. As one of the first recipients of financial aid from the university's Presidential Scholarship Initiative, he received a full ride to Virginia Tech and will be first in his family to graduate from college.
