Operating schedules for key campus facilities and services during winter break

Following is information pertaining to schedules for commonly used campus facilities and services during winter break (Dec. 15 - Jan 11., 2008).

Patrons should visit the linked websites, if provided, to assure that information is as up-to-date as possible. Information in this notice is also updated as it becomes available.

Facility hours for Recreation Sports

Schiffert Health Center will be closed from Friday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. until Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. The advice nurse can be reached by calling 540-231-6444.

Cook Counseling Center will be closed from Friday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. until Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. A counselor may be reached by calling 540-231-6444.

The Office of the University Registrar will be closed from Friday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. until Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m.

War Memorial Chapel

• Wednesday, Dec. 19: office closes at 2:30 p.m.
• Friday, Dec. 21: close at 5 p.m. (entire facility)
• Dec. 22 though Jan. 1: facility and office closed
• Tuesday, Jan. 2: facility and office open normal hours. The facility remains unlocked every day from 6 a.m. until midnight.

The building at 702 University City Boulevard which houses the Outreach Program Development Administrative Office and the offices of Outreach Information Services, Continuing and Professional Education and Economic Development, will be closed from Friday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. until Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 8 a.m. To leave a message for Outreach Program Development, Outreach Information Services and Continuing and Professional Education that will be returned on Jan. 2, call (540) 231-5182. The Office of Economic Development will operate on a limited schedule. To contact or leave a message for Ted Settle, call (540) 231-9940.
