Nominations for Alumni Awards for Excellence in International Education, Outreach, and Research open through Dec. 1

SUBJECT:Alumni Awards for Excellence in International Education, Outreach, and Research

The following is an outline of the nomination process for the Alumni Award for Excellence in International Education, the Alumni Award for Excellence in International Outreach, and the Alumni Award for Excellence in International Research. Thanks to the support of the Alumni Association we have been able to provide three awards, each focusing on a distinct area of international work. Please share this information with your faculty and staff and request that they nominate those who are deserving of these awards.

The nomination deadline is December 1, 2009.

The recipient of each of the three awards will each receive a monetary award of $2,000 and a plaque. The Alumni Awards are conferred during the honors convocation in the fall. Please refer to the Employee Awards and Recognition Programs Policy 4335, Section 3.4, regarding taxation of awards.
