2009 Commonwealth of Virginia (CVC) Campaign pledge system

Dear Colleagues,

The 2009 Commonwealth of Virginia (CVC) Campaign is scheduled to begin this week. I am honored to serve as the Honorary Chair of this year’s campaign.

In order to make the donation process for the CVC easier and more environmentally friendly, a new on –line pledge system has been developed by the staff at Human Resources. This product can be accessed at www.cvc.hr.vt.edu/pledge. Employees can use the new electronic system to make regular payroll deduction or one time gifts to the CVC.

We are asking deans, directors, and department heads to help get the word out concerning this exciting new development with the CVC. You may wish to consider having a representative from Human Resources visit a staff meeting or other gathering in order to demonstrate use of the new system. If you wish to schedule this type of presentation, please contact Carol Bishop in Human Resources at ceebee@vt.edu.
