Parking Structure Breaking Ground Parking Changes Due to Construction
Faculty/Staff Parking Customers:
Virginia Techs first parking structure will be breaking ground in the Perry Street/Prices Fork parking lot in August 2009. Barricades blocking off the construction area will be set up during the week of August 10.
The construction work for the 1200 space parking deck will result in the loss of several hundred faculty/staff parking spaces in Perry Street Lot 2. These spaces will be relocated into Perry Street Lot 3 by converting commuter/graduate spaces into faculty/staff.
Upon completion of the parking deck, in 14-16 months, faculty, staff, students, and visitors will have the opportunity to park in the facility with a valid Virginia Tech parking permit.
Please see the map to view the changes to faculty/staff parking spaces.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact Parking Services at parking@vt.edu or call 231-3200.
