Virginia Tech demonstrates its commitment to advising is by recognizing and supporting the needs of academic advisors.
The collection and dissemination of information that contributes to effective advising is paramount to the academic success and progress of our students. The University Academic Advising website includes information necessary to advise students for summer, fall, and spring semesters.
Faculty members and professional advisors are encouraged to visit the site, as it highlights what they will need to know to effectively advise all students; including AP/IB credit, English and Math placement, the Honors Program, advising student athletes, and other topics.
