Sponsored project group to discuss emerging research administration issues

The Virginia Tech Sponsored Project Administration group (VTSPA) will meet Wednesday, April 22, from 3 to 5 p.m. in Hancock 100.

VTSPA is a university-wide professional working group open to all Virginia Tech personnel involved in sponsored research administration. This meeting is a joint meeting hosted by the Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) and the Controller’s Office.

Topics on the tentative agenda include the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, electronic effort reporting, charging100 percent PI/Co-PI effort on projects, and cost transfers.
