Faculty member of the year, faculty appreciation day information

The Student Alumni Associates of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association wish to congratulate the recipients of the 15th Annual Students' Choice Award for Faculty Member of the Year:

• Bill Beal - Professor, Animal and Poultry Science
• John Boyer - Instructor, Geography
• Tsu Roger Chang - Instructor, Physics
• Preston Durrill - Instructor, Chemistry
• Jeannine Eddleton - Instructor, Chemistry
• Mike Ellerbrock - Professor, Agriculture and Applied Economics
• Scott Geller - Professor, Psychology
• Chris Neck - Associate Professor, Management
• George Simmons - Premedical/Predental Advisor - University Honors and Biological Sciences
• Ketan Trivedi - Instructor, Chemistry

A special reception for the honorees will be hosted by the Student Alumni Associates and the Alumni Association at the Holtzman Alumni Center on February 26 which is Faculty Appreciation Day on campus.

Also on April 10, the Student Alumni Associates will have Faculty Appreciation Day tables set up on the Drillfield, Owens and West End Dining from 11 AM - 3 PM. Students can stop by to pick up an apple and a sticker for their favorite faculty member and also write a thank-you to faculty members who have made a difference for them.
