Interlibrary loans at Newman Library
Virginia Tech's Newman Library offers the interlibrary loan (ILLiad), a service to Virginia Tech students, faculty, and staff to ensure that they have access to all of the material that they may need.
With the ILLiad, material that is not available at the Newman Library can be borrowed from another library and delivered directly to you. This service is available for items that are not currently owned by the University Libraries (http://www.lib.vt.edu/), material missing from the library collections, and items at the bindery that will not be available to the requestor within two weeks.
Requested items can delivered electronically when possible, picked up at Newman Library, the Veterinary Medicine Library, the Northern Virginia Resource Center, or mailed to your address.
If you are interested in obtaining material via interlibrary loan, you are encouraged to visit the ILLiad office located on the first floor of the Newman Library.
