“The Virginia Tech College of Agriculture and Life Sciences — it’s so many things,” Dean Alan Grant says at the beginning of a new video that highlights the myriad missions that the college undertakes daily.

The short film features the college’s rigorous academic programs, its cutting-edge research, and the impact of Virginia Cooperative Extension, as well as the important role of alumni and the contributions of Virginia Agricultural Research and Extension Centers. Students who have studied abroad talk about the value of an interdisciplinary education while others discuss the satisfaction of living up to the university’s Ut Prosim (That I May Serve) motto.

“The college is making a real difference in the lives of people in Virginia and around the world,” Grant says in the video.
