(VTIP) will showcase Virginia Tech cyber security technologies, mobile communications, therapeutics, and more at the inaugural TechStorm on June 2 at the Mason Inn in Fairfax, Va. TechStorm is the first national event focused exclusively on matching innovative university technologies with entrepreneurs and seed funding opportunities,

TechStorm is a national event exclusively focused on matching innovative technologies developed at universities and federal labs with entrepreneurs and in-licensing professionals. The June 2 event features participation from pre-vetted entrepreneurs, a pre-event matching program, and a seed funding program for start-ups launched as a result of connections made at TechStorm.
The event is open to the technology transfer professionals and researchers from academic institutions and federal labs, corporate in-licensing executives, entrepreneurs, investors, and others interested in contributing to the advancement of innovative technologies to market.
TechStorm is being organized by InnovateTech Ventures, and co-hosted by Amplifier, George Mason University, and the Academic Licensing Community of Virginia (ALCOVe).
