U.S. Marine Corps flyover hosted by the Virginia Tech Corps of Cadets for East Carolina game

The Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 773, Detachment B, from Johnstown, Pa., will conduct a military aircraft flyover with AH-1W Super Cobra Attack Helicopters during the National Anthem prior to the Virginia Tech versus East Carolina University football game on Saturday, Sept. 18.

The flyover is expected barring weather or operational factors. The flight will be led by Lt. Col. Patrick Steininger, U.S. Marine Corps, who received a degree in computer science from Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering in 1987.

The group plans to practice over the stadium area on Friday, Sept. 17.
