Will Wan of Annandale, Va., a junior in the visual communications design program of the School of Visual Arts, College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech, has been selected to participate in the White House internship program as the new media intern this summer.

Wan’s responsibilities include assisting in the creation and management of the Presidential brand, updating content and imagery and assisting in creating production graphics for www.WhiteHouse.gov (http://www.whitehouse.gov/), and assisting in maintenance of other federal government online properties.

In addition to his internship within the White House, Wan was also involved with President Obama’s 2008 campaign.
