Recreational sports to host Foot Locker College Hoops Tour
Virginia Tech Department of Recreational Sports and War Memorial Hall will play host to the Foot Locker College Hoops Tour on Friday, Feb. 20 from 3 to 6 p.m.
The Foot Locker College Hoops Tour, which is presented by BIC Comfort 3 Advance, includes a 3-point shootout, slam dunk competition, and knock-out for cash prizes, giveaways, and more.
The Foot Locker 3-Point Shootout allows both men and women’s divisions to take three-point shots from five different locations around the arc. Participants receive points for each shot made and highest scores in each division will take home Foot Locker gift cards.
The BIC Comfort 3 Advance Slam Dunk competition allows participants to sign up to enter either an eight or nine foot dunk competition. Winner of each division will take home a $400 AMEX gift card and runners-up in each division will take home a $100 AMEX gift card.
The Foot Locker Knock-Out challenge will be running throughout the day for as many participants that want to jump in. The winner of each round of knock-out will receive an opportunity to go into the “money machine” and grab as much cash as possible which can be redeemed for Foot Locker gift cards in that amount.
A BIC Comfort 3 Advance Green Screen will be available for participants to have their pictures taken and e-mailed to them for a free download with their image placed into a slam dunk scenario.
Registration is not required for the Foot Locker College Hoops Tour and participation is free for all Virginia Tech patrons and community members. Participants under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for participation.
All participants and spectators will receive a free BIC Comfort 3 Advance razor to take home, as well as other prizes and giveaways. Spectators not wishing to participate are also welcomed to attend.
