Virginia Tech Golf Course, located on Duck Pond Drive on Virginia Tech's Blacksburg campus, will be hosting summer special events open to both the university community and to the public during June and July 2008.

In June Chris Lovrine, the Professional Golfers’ Association head professional at the Virginia Tech Golf Course, will be running a National Women’s Golf Month special every Wednesday. The special will include a free one-hour women-only golf clinic from 6 to 7 p.m.

National Family Golf Month will be featured in July. Families can participate in a free golf clinic being offered at the course every Sunday in July from 2 to 3 p.m.

Summer hours for the Virginia Tech Golf Course are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends. For more information about the course itself or the clinics, call (540) 231-6435.
