Virginia Tech’s Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center will host a time of remembrance event at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16 (rain or shine).

Speakers will include Dr. Martin Furr, professor and Adelaide C. Riggs Chair in Equine Medicine at the Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center; Dr. William D. Tyrrell Jr., past president, Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society; and Joseph Keusch, council member, Marion duPont Scott Equine Medical Center. A moment of silence will be observed followed by a violin solo and the release of 32 doves. A reception will take place after the service.
