Virginia Tech's Armory Gallery presents "Conversations with Jess: Work of Jessica Lum," featuring Lum's new fiber/mixed media works, through Friday, August 24.

“Jessica Lum’s work is a dialogue between her and the materials, between formal sensibilities and craftsmanship,” said Deborah Sim, exhibition curator and adjunct instructor of art and art history in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies at Virginia Tech. Her work has been featured in both regional and national exhibitions, including Regional Diction, Christmas at the Gallery, and most recently in the Raw Arts Festival at The Carrozzini von Buhler Gallery in New York.

The Armory Gallery, operated by Virginia Tech’s Department of Art and Art History, is located at 201 Draper Road. The exhibition, open Tuesdays through Saturdays from noon to 4 p.m., is free and open to the public. For information, contact Deborah Sim at (540) 231~4859.
