Twelve people have one more reason to be "Crazy for the Hokies!"

Virginia Tech announced the winners of the "Crazy for the Hokies!" sweepstakes Saturday during the Virginia Tech-University of Virginia football game. Winning photographs were displayed on the Lane Stadium Jumbotron at halftime. Entrants to this year's sweepstakes submitted a photograph of themselves wearing or holding a Virginia Tech product — such as a hat, T-shirt or stuffed Hokie Bird. Winners were selected by a random drawing.

Parker Clark, of Salem, Va., received the $5,000 first prize. Julia Jones, of Fairfax Station, Va., received the second place prize of $1,000.

Ten Hokie fans received third place prizes of a Hokie Headquarters Canopy. They were: Tamara Altizer, Midlothian, Va.; Travis Anderson, Mechanicsville, Va.; Meagan Cox, Draper, Va.; Cassi DeLuca, McMurray, Penn.; Caleb Hill, Austinville, Va.; Trevor Jordan, Seaford, Va.; Frank Locascio, Blacksburg; Rob Semter, Blacksburg; Nicholas Tselides, Warrenton, Va.; and Katie Wilson, Colonial Heights, Va.

"We were really pleased with the response to the sweepstakes from all our 'crazy' Hokie fans," said Locke White, director of licensing and trademark administration at Virginia Tech. "We had some great photos that came in from all over the world."
